U-Seal 201 Fast | Fast curing one-part polyurethane direct glazing & structural bonding adhesive
U-Seal 201 Fast is a fast-curing, high-performance, flexible, single-component polyurethane adhesive specifically designed for direct glazing on vehicles. This product is engineered to ensure a rapid safe drive-away time of just 2 hours for vehicles equipped with airbags.
- One-component polyurethane.
- Solvent-free, odorless.
- Fast curing.
- Suitable for both low and high-temperature applications.
- Excellent thixotropy, good coverage, non-sagging.
- High viscosity with strong initial adhesion.
- High modulus – maintains torsional stiffness and enhances the vehicle’s NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) values.
- Capable of withstanding high dynamic stresses.
- Suitable for use with integral aerials.
Applications
Specifically designed for bonding windshields in the automotive glass replacement market, including side and rear windows for cars, trucks, tractors, and special vehicles. This product is also used for bonding fiberglass-reinforced plastic components (such as roofs, side panels, and front panels) on vehicles. U-Seal can be applied in any situation requiring strong elastic structural bonding between different materials (automotive coatings, metal sheets, fiberglass, and reinforced plastics) that are subject to significant mechanical or thermal stresses.
DRIVE AWAY TIME (DAT)
- Drive Away Time: 2 hours.
- On vehicles fitted with both driver and passenger airbags.
U-Seal 201 Fast is compliant to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 212 and all long-term durability requirements according to the full range of N.P.T laboratory Data.

User Instructions
Insert the adhesive bag into a manual or pneumatic caulking gun (equipped with a telescopic piston). Ensure that all surfaces are completely clean, dry, and free from dust and grease. The windshield and bonding surfaces should be prepared according to NPT application guidelines, using NPT’s specialized CLEANER or ACTIVATOR products and the U-PRIMER 130 black primer. Preliminary adhesion tests on the substrate are recommended. For specific instructions on using the primer, you may send material samples to our laboratory.
Do not allow the adhesive to cure in the presence of silicone sealants. Avoid contact with alcohol and other solvent-based cleaners during curing. When applying the adhesive, ensure no air is trapped. Since this adhesive system cures through moisture, sufficient exposure to air is necessary. Bonded parts may need to be held or supported during the curing process. Shaping and finishing must be done before the adhesive skins over.
Cleaning Instructions
Clean used tools with acetone or solvent. While the adhesive is uncured, it can be wiped away with paper or cloth. Once cured, it can only be removed mechanically. Avoid direct contact with the skin by wearing latex, rubber, or polyethylene gloves. If adhesive comes into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water.
