Bostik H725 SEAL’N’FLEX FAÇADE is specially developed as a versatile sealant for filling and sealing joints and expansion joints in pedestrian walkways on most common building materials such as concrete, bricks, paint, wood, enamel, aluminum, stainless steel, and various plastics.

Usage Instructions

A properly sized joint can absorb movements between building materials. The depth of the joint should always be proportional to its width. The depth of the joint should always be in proportion to the width of the joint up to 10 mm with a ratio of 1:1, with a minimum width and depth of 5 mm. For joints wider than 10 mm, the depth equals the width divided by 3 plus 6 mm.

Limitations

Not suitable for PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene, and bitumen substrates.
Not suitable for structural glazing and large mirrors.
Not suitable for use in combination with chlorides (e.g., swimming pools).

Surface Preparation and Finishing

Application temperature: +5°C to +40°C (applies to environment and surface). All surfaces must be firm, clean, dry, free of grease, and dust. Bostik H725 SEAL’N’FLEX FAÇADE adheres perfectly without the need for primer on most non-porous surfaces. Porous substrates should be pre-treated with primer. Always check adhesion before application.

Paintability

Bostik H725 SEAL’N’FLEX FAÇADE can be painted with water-based paint and most 2-component paints. Synthetic paints may dry slower. We recommend checking compatibility with paint before application. If Bostik H725 is already painted, we recommend lightly sanding the sealant and adjacent surfaces before using Scotch-Brite. For best results, apply the product after a few days.

Surface Cleaning

Materials and tools can be cleaned using specialized cleaning machines. Hardened materials can only be removed mechanically. Manual cleaning with soap and cloth is also possible.

Storage

Store in a dry place at temperatures ranging from +5°C to +25°C. Shelf life is 15 months from the date of manufacture.
