3M 560 Sealant is a one-component polyurethane adhesive sealant known for its high durability, moisture handling capabilities, gap-filling properties, and ability to create high-strength bonds across various materials including plastics, metals, glass fibers, and wood.

Key features include:

  • High-strength bonding to replace mechanical screws and rivets.
  • Excellent UV resistance.
  • Permanent elasticity.
  • Adhesion to different material surfaces.
  • Surface dry time of 50-60 minutes, can be painted after surface dry.
  • Excellent filling and sealing properties.
  • Medium Shore A hardness.

The tool for dispensing adhesive is an air-powered caulking gun.

The 3M 560 Sealant creates high-strength elastic bonds with excellent UV resistance. It’s designed for high performance. The one-component polyurethane sealant is moisture-curing and is used to bond various materials, including plastics, fiberglass reinforced plastics (FRP), sheet molding compounds (SMC), aluminum, steel, coated metals, and wood. It exhibits high tensile strength and medium Shore A hardness. It is packaged in a sausage form.

Some lines of sealant come in different hardness levels.
