Aluseal by Bostik is formulated to seal aluminum window joints and can be used for both interior and exterior applications. It exhibits excellent weather resistance and good flexibility. For best adhesion, apply with a brush or a caulking gun on clean and dry surfaces.

Surface Preparation:

Always ensure surfaces are dry and free from oil, dust, and grease. Use a two-stage cleaning process for non-porous substrates. Ensure clean cloths and change frequently. Use suitable cleaning agents. Quickly remove excess with a clean cloth.

Instructions for Use:

Load the product into the caulking gun. Apply a continuous bead of adhesive to joint surfaces. Apply the sealing compound into the joint to eliminate air bubbles and ensure complete sealing.
Allow to dry for at least 4 hours. Low temperatures and high humidity will extend drying time.

Cleaning Instructions:

Use acetone. Do not thin the sealant.

Storage Instructions:

Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C, away from direct sunlight and heat sources/ignition. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored as directed.

Recommendations:

• Bostik Aluseal is not suitable for joints larger than 2 mm.
• Do not mix or come into contact with other sealing compounds or solvents.
• Avoid leaving sealant on decorative finishes longer than necessary, as prolonged contact may lead to changes in decorative finishes.
