Bostik H360 hybrid sealant for construction & glass façade

Bostik H360 SEAL’N’FLEX ALL-IN-ONE is a hybrid sealant designed for low-movement joints, suitable for both interior and exterior applications in the construction and glass facade industry. Its advantages include:

  • Addressing the weakness of silicone joints when adhered to concrete (due to the alkalinity of concrete).
  • Filling expansion joints.
  • Adhering door frames to concrete walls.
  • Solvent-free.
  • Excellent resistance to UV rays, water, and weathering factors.

Bostik H360 is a hybrid sealant with superior advantages over other sealant types. It ensures no gapping when sealing joints in concrete (due to the alkaline nature of concrete). It’s ideal for filling expansion joints and adhering door frames to concrete walls. Compatible substrates include:

  • Brick.
  • Wood.
  • Concrete.
  • Aluminum.
  • Glass.
  • Copper.
  • PVC.
  • Stainless Steel.
  • Porcelain.
  • Painted Steel.

Usage Instructions

A precise joint can accommodate movements between different building materials. The depth of the joint should always be in proportion to its width. A general rule is that the depth-to-width ratio of the joint up to 10mm width should be 1:1, with a minimum width and depth of 5mm. For joints wider than 10mm, the depth is the width divided by 3 plus 6mm.

Limitations

  • Not suitable for PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene, and bitumen substrates.
  • Not suitable for natural stone and chlorides (in swimming pools).
  • Not suitable for continuous water immersion.

Surface Preparation & Finishing

Operating temperature: +5°C to +40°C (applicable to both environment and substrate). All substrate surfaces must be firm, clean, dry, free from oil or grease, and dust-free. Clean the surface with a specialized cleaning solution. Bostik H360 SEAL’N’FLEX ALL-IN-ONE adheres well without the need for primer on most non-porous surfaces. Porous substrates should be pre-treated with a specialized primer. Always perform an adhesion test before application.

Paintability

Bostik H360 adhesive can be painted with water-based and most two-component paints. Synthetic paints may dry slower. We recommend testing compatibility with the paint before application. If Bostik H360 adhesive is being painted over (which is not necessary), we advise lightly sanding the filler material and the adjoining surfaces before use. For best results, Hitta recommends painting within a few days of application.

Storage

When unopened and stored in its original packaging within a temperature range of +5°C to +25°C, the shelf life of the product is up to 12 months from the date of manufacture, stored in a dry place.
